Sony Introduces Drop-Box Electronics Recycling Solution For Retail Locations
Posted on April 23, 2009Sony has recently offered another way for consumers to quickly and conveniently recycle old electronics: drop boxes at many of its retail stores. The GreenFill program allows consumers to drop off Sony-brand electronics for free and other brands for a small fee at any of over 270 locations.

“Sony’s GreenFill program is providing consumers with a convenient, sustainable solution for recycling small electronic products,” said Mike Fasulo, executive vice president of Sony Electronics with management oversight for the company's corporate social responsibility initiatives. “We are continuing our commitment to reach our goal of recycling one pound of old consumer electronics equipment for every pound of new products sold.” [Sony Press Release, 4/22/09]
